Romo Linara24 June 2023 | Admin Romo Linara for Made-to-Measure Curtains and Blinds We would guess that Romo Linara is probably the best-known fabric name in the country. As well as being a lovely cotton-linen blend with a soft, brushed finish, making it a highly desirable fabric already, the main reason for its incredible success is that it is available in an astonishing palette of 360 colours. There is a shade of Romo Linara that works with every room scheme you could imagine. Whether matching to a particular wall colour, a favourite sofa or a stylish wallpaper, Romo Linara is always our first choice when looking for the perfect colour match for soft furnishings to fit with a scheme. We’ve made more Roman Blinds out of Romo Linara over the years than any other fabric and it makes up beautifully, with either a bonded interlining or separate interlining, the finished blind always has that luxurious look and feel. Roman Blinds that are plush, stylish and highly desirable. Perfect also for Curtains and Cushions. It is a very practical and durable, washable fabric, 63% cotton and 37% linen, with an exceptionally soft, peach-skin finish. The other extremely clever feature of Linara are the shades themselves. A beautifully curated collection of soft pastels, bold primaries and timeless neutrals creating a stunning collection of desirable shades. We are big fans as you can no doubt guess! Romo was founded in 1902 by Robert Mould and is still a family run business now in its fifth generation. Based in Nottinghamshire, Romo first established an in-house design studio in the 1980s and has a reputation for excellent designs from its talented and experienced team. All original artwork is hand painted and delicately coloured with new collections launched twice a year. As well as the Romo brand, the Romo group has five other brands; Villa Nova (another favourite of ours), Black Edition, Kirkby Design, Mark Alexander and Zinc Textile.
